Our Summer Offsite Event 2025
One team, one vision - that was the motto of this year's summer offsite event at Hotel Edita in the picturesque Allgäu region.
From July 10 to 12, we brought the entire agency together for three exciting days. Not just for the usual summer party, but for something bigger: genuine exchange, strategic workshops, and unforgettable shared experiences.
When the whole agency gets together
What's so special about our Summer Event? Everyone is involved.
From Munich to Traunstein and Vienna to Barcelona, and of course all our fully remote colleagues—once a year, we bring all our employees together in one place and consciously take time for each other. In times of remote work and international teams, this is a real luxury that we are happy to indulge in.
The bus trip to the Allgäu region together was the perfect start: relaxed conversations, initial anticipation, and the opportunity to get to know colleagues from other locations better.
Workshops with real impact
Instead of tedious presentations full of adulation, we have opted for active, hands-on formats that will improve our collaboration in the long term:
- Chapter workshops for professional exchange within the DEV, DX, CON, and MAR chapters
- Team retrospectives for continuous improvement in individual teams
- "Working Together: Clarity & Collaboration" – shared sessions for better agency-wide collaboration
- All-Hands Workshop "Shaping our Future Together" – the entire agency actively shapes its future
What makes it special: Such participatory formats are standard practice for us. Transparent communication and the involvement of all employees in important decisions are simply part of our DNA.
Sports, fun and summer vibes
Of course, there was no shortage of fun—and in many different ways. Early risers could jog with Christoph and Philipp on the “Hoff-Pschorn 5.5 km loop” or work out at Babsis' Tabata session by the pool. Those who preferred to take it easy simply enjoyed the amenities of the 4-star hotel: relaxing by the pool, unwinding in the spa, or chatting on the terrace.
Especially cool: despite the summer party the next morning, a group spontaneously got together to explore the beautiful nature near the hotel—it's precisely these kinds of unplanned activities that show how our teams get along outside of work and go on discovery tours together.
The annual SCC event (SCC = Sebastian-Christoph-Christoph – co-founder of vDXA 😉) created extra team spirit before the legendary vDXA Summer Party really got started. With BBQ, music, and relaxed summer vibes, the party went on until the early hours of the morning – the perfect balance to the intensive workshop sessions and real proof that we can party just as well as we can work.
More than just work
This event was so special because it once again showed what valantic DXA really stands for:
- Genuine community instead of mere collegiality
- Open communication at all levels
- Shaping the future of the agency together
- Work-Life-Balance with fun and relaxing moments
- International cooperation that works
Three days in which we grew closer together not only as an agency, but as a team that wants to achieve great things together.
