Nico has been a part of valantic DXA for over 10 years now and has experienced a lot during his time here. In the following, you will get a small insight into his time with us.
A very eventful and super time. A cool time. I learned a lot and met a lot of people. As the company developed, I also developed myself. It was my first job after graduating. It was definitely a cool time, and above all you get the feeling that you have contributed to the development of the agency. When I arrived, there were about 10 people sitting here and now there are over 100.
The staff numbers, of course, so simply the size of the agency. And also the personal development. So in the end, I went from intern to chapter lead. I've basically taken everything with me - every single position that existed in between.
The biggest challenge - every single project, I would just say. Managing bigger and bigger projects and taking on more responsibility overall was really tough. And now the position as Chapter Lead was and is also a very big challenge.
I would say what was or still is really great is always meeting new people. That's always very special and exciting.
At work, of course, it was especially cool when I was allowed to supervise the first really big marketing projects. When you suddenly have a bigger retainer where you can just work on it and say, "Yes, I have this idea - would you like to implement it? It's great to be able to implement that successfully. And apart from that, of course, all the team events we've done. Jochen Schweizer Arena, mountain hut, 10-year and 15-year celebrations etc..
To grow even more into the new role and develop it further - myself as well as the marketing team. That means not only growing bigger, but ultimately also promoting that it continues to be fun to work here. Like it has been for the last 10 years, just being part of the development. And that with our marketing team. That would be cool.
I can only say it again and again: I only wanted to do an internship 10 years and 7 months ago. Yes, and now? Now almost 11 years have passed. And what's cool is that many people from back then are still here.
I can still remember the time when I wrote an email to Munich to some internet agency that had a job advertisement, I think in the Süddeutsche. I walked in and thought, "OK, I'm slightly overdressed here," because I came to the interview in a suit. That was really cool. I didn't know what to expect and I thought to myself, "Well, what are you doing? No idea". Then I drove from Innsbruck to Munich with a suit in my luggage, changed at a friend's house, drove to the office and go up there and think to myself "Why the hell am I wearing a suit?"
Yeah, but when you read those years like that, it's pretty rad. And now I was like "Hey, I can't believe it, they just gave me this award for ten years and now it's seven months again hey" XD
